Streets2

Streets2 is a mod that intends to add and rebalance some roads and bridges. Adds slim and asymetric streets. Changes the start date for some bridges and stop lights.

SLIM & ASYMETRIC STREETS:

TF1 had slim streets that you could upgrade to without having to do all of that costly demotion and relocation work. This mod attmempts to re-implement these roads. Also includes some asymetric roads.

Included are:

• Slim four-lane medium city (new and old) and new country roads designed to fit into a Small Road footprint
• Slim three-lane one-way road that fits into a Small Road footprint
• 2+1 city and country asymetric road that fits into a Small Road footprint
• Slim six-lane large city (new and old) and new country roads designed to fit into a Medium Road footprint
• 3+2 city and country asymetric road that fits into a Medium Road footprint

Known issues due for some streets to how the vanilla street and edge scripts are set up:

• Placed trees can get into edge of the travel lanes
• Lane edge markings can make the lanes look uneven or get under the direction arrows

BRIDGES:

Some bridges become available earleir but at higher construction costs (also affects rail bridges too).

• Steel Bridge is now available at 1875, but at very high build costs that progressively becomes cheaper as the eras progess until it's normal availablity at 1940.
• Concrete Bridge becomes available at 1950 but at twice the build cost until 1970.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS:

• Traffic light tool becomes available at 1925 instead of 1950.

EARLIER NEW COUNTRY ROADS:

Some new-style country roads and highways become available earlier but at higher construction costs.

• Some New Country Roads become available at 1925 but at 4x the cost until it's normal introduction year of 1940.
• Some New Highway Roads become available at 1930 but at 4x the cost and a slower speed limit of 100km/h until it's normal introduction year of 1940.
• The Old Small Country Road remains available after 1940.
