Fence Assets

Fence Assets offers 89 decorative fence, hedge and wall choices. The catalogue includes the original Wood, Stone, Metal, Security and Canvas fences; six airport and airfield styles; farm fences in two lengths; four residential families with eleven gate designs; headquarters and livestock fences; noise barriers; three hedge lengths; and seven wall families at two heights and four panel lengths.

The six airport styles use original Transport Fever 3 models with built-in supports. Separate endpoint gates and posts are unavailable for these styles.

Find the FA-badged tool in Landscaping > Assets. Choose a start point and an endpoint, then continue drawing connected sections. Supports mouse and controller.

Follow road or rail edges with adjustable clearance. Use fixed or flexible panel lengths, keep a level height or follow the terrain, and choose stepped horizontal panels or panels that follow the slope. Height offset ranges from −2 to +4 m.

Add optional endpoint gates and posts where supported. Canvas fences use wooden gates. Residential gate designs have separate catalogue entries. Wall endpoints can use matching corner pillars. Stone fences require at least 6 m for one gate or 10 m for both. Noise barriers are decorative and do not reduce noise.

To reduce preview load, lines over 100 m use a lightweight blue outline with fence samples at the ends and gates. Placement still creates the complete fence. Very long lines can slow preview updates or placement, especially when following terrain or road curves. Draw shorter sections or lower the maximum drawing distance if needed. The limit ranges from 100 to 1,000 m; default 500 m.

Decorative only, with no transport or economy effects. Uses the game’s fence models without copied meshes or textures.
