Beschreibung

See where passengers are really going. The station, vehicle and person windows get a small Destinations row that draws the game's moving cargo arrows to the homes, shops and workplaces they are travelling to.

If you liked the arrows on your industries, good news: there are now about thirty more per bus stop.

Features

  • One row everywhere: Destinations: Show arrows. Stations add Terminals: 1 2 3 ... to leave out single terminals (all ticked by default).
  • Two jumps: strong arrows go to the stops where the passengers get off; faded arrows go on from there to the areas of the homes, shops and workplaces they are heading for (nearby buildings are grouped, busiest first). The more passengers an arrow carries, the fuller it is drawn.
  • Station and vehicle windows: a summary counts the passengers per town, splits them into Home, Shop and Work and names the stops where they get off. Vehicle arrows follow the vehicle as it moves; freight-only vehicles get no row.
  • Person window: the person's own two jumps, with a note such as "Riding Line 3, off at Main Street -> Work, Springfield".
  • Hover a Locate pin: hovering a person's pin in any list (passengers on board, waiting passengers, residents) shows that person's arrows. In a person window, hovering the pins under Locations shows an arrow to that home or workplace.
  • Hold Shift on the map: point at a station, vehicle or person and its arrows show without opening a window. Release Shift and they go. Works on the plain map and with entity windows open; builders, layers and the line manager keep Shift for themselves.
  • Live: arrows and counts refresh every second while Show arrows is on.

Notes

  • Changes of line after the first stop are not known to mods, so the faded arrow runs straight from that stop to the destination.
  • Arrows show while Show arrows is on and clear when you untick it or close the window. At most 10 stop arrows and 30 destination arrows are drawn per station or vehicle; the rest are only counted.
  • Workplaces in industries count as "Other" in the town list.
  • Reads the game state only: it changes nothing in the simulation, stores nothing in the savegame, and can be added to or removed from existing saves.

Changelog

Revision 8 (2026-10-26)

  • Arrows show how many passengers take each route: the more passengers, the fuller the arrow. The Show arrows tooltip explains it.

Revision 7 (2026-10-20)

  • Fixed for PlayStation 5: the arrows and the Destinations card no longer risk crashing the UI where the console's game lacks parts the PC version has. Missing parts are left out instead.

Revision 6 (2026-10-11)

  • Fixed: with this mod on, the Locate pins in the line manager's lists (and other lists that show them only on hover) were visible on every row. They show only on the hovered row again, as in the base game.
  • The settings' tooltips are broken into short lines instead of one very wide box.

Revision 5 (2026-10-10)

  • New: the vehicle window gets the Destinations row. Its arrows start at the vehicle and follow it as it moves.
  • New: arrows in two jumps, strong to the stop where the passengers get off and faded from there to their home, shop or work. This replaces the Next stop option.
  • New: hovering a person's Locate pin in any list shows that person's arrows; in a person window, the Locations pins show an arrow to that home or workplace.
  • Changed: the station, vehicle and person windows share one row, Destinations: Show arrows. Stations filter terminals with Terminals: 1 2 3 ..., all ticked by default.
  • New: hold Shift and point at a station, vehicle or person on the map to see its arrows without opening a window.
  • Faster: hovering a pin scans its passengers once a second instead of four times, the station and vehicle rows redraw only when their counts change, and stop positions are reused between refreshes.

Revision 4 (2026-10-10)

  • New: translations into Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). The mod follows the game's language setting.

Revision 3 (2026-10-10)

  • Fixed: at stations with many terminals (large ports), the terminal checkboxes ran off the edge of the station window. They now wrap onto new rows to fit the window's width.

Revision 2 (2026-10-09)

  • Faster: the station window scans its waiting passengers once per refresh instead of twice, and reads less per passenger in final-destination mode. Less load at very busy stations while the arrows are on.

Revision 1 (2026-10-09)

  • New: first release, final-destination arrows in the station and person windows, with a next-stop option.
