NSW Whistle Signs

Bring a familiar touch of the Sydney rail network to Transport Fever 3 with these representations of the whistle signs used by Sydney Trains. Choose from two styles: a square sign with a bold black W, or a tall vertical sign with WHISTLE lettering. Both styles can be placed on the left or right side of the track, viewed from an approaching train. As a train approaches the printed face of a sign on its track, the mod automatically sounds that train's own horn or whistle as the front passes the sign. Each sign triggers once per pass, using the vehicle's configured sound. Trains passing the back of the sign do not trigger it. Find NSW Whistle Sign under Tracks > Tools. Signs snap to the track and do not need to be assigned to a train's line to operate.
