Guard Rails

Finish your railway with safety guard rails and neatly tapered ends. Add detail to bridge decks, sharp curves and exposed sections using one configurable placement tool, with separate end pieces that snap to the section boundary.

One tool, all the choices

In Railways → Tools, select JP Guard rails, then choose:

• 1,067 or 1,435 mm track gauge.
• Both sides, Left only or Right only.
• A 65, 85, 150 or 250 mm clear gap, measured between the edges of the running-rail head and guard-rail head.

Click a track segment to apply the preview. The rails follow its curves and slopes, including bridge and tunnel sections. Left and right follow the segment's direction, so check the preview before placing. Clicking a segment with existing guards replaces this pack's guards with your new settings and preserves other track decorations.

Ends that snap into place

Choose JP Guard Rail Ends, select a V-shaped nose or Short inward flare, then point near the end of a guarded section. The tool matches the existing guard rails, gap, side and slope automatically and snaps to the exact track joint. No centimetre-by-centimetre adjustment is needed.

Remove guards and ends in one click

In Railways → Tools, choose JP Remove Guard Rails and Ends, identified by a bulldozer icon. Click a track segment to remove this pack's guard rails and the ends at both segment boundaries together.

Standalone and compatible

Use this pack on the original base game 1,435 mm tracks, or combine it with 1,067 mm & Dual gauge tracks for its 1,067 mm tracks.

The guards are decorative: they do not control trains or impose speed limits. They are placed manually, not automatically on every bridge. Avoid switches and level crossings.

脱線防止レール（護輪軌条）ときれいにすぼまった端部パーツで、線路のディテールを仕上げましょう。設定可能な配置ツールひとつで、橋梁、急カーブ、高架区間にリアルなアクセントを追加できます。区間の端には専用の端末パーツがぴったりスナップします。

ひとつのツールに多彩な選択肢

鉄道 → ツールからJP Guard railsを選択し、以下を設定します：

• 1,067 mm または 1,435 mmの軌間。
• 両側・左側のみ・右側のみ。
• 65 mm、85 mm、150 mm、250 mmのクリアランス（隙間）（主レールの頭部端からガードレールの頭部端までの間隔）。

線路セグメントをクリックするとプレビューが適用されます。橋梁やトンネルを含む勾配・曲線にも追従します。左右の向きはセグメントの敷設方向に準拠するため、配置前にプレビューをご確認ください。すでにガードレールが設置されているセグメントをクリックすると、他の線路装飾を保持したまま本パックのガードレールのみが新しい設定値で上書きされます。

自動で吸着する端部パーツ

JP Guard Rail Endsを選択し、V字型ノーズまたは短内曲げ型フレアを選んで、ガードレール設置区間の端付近にカーソルを合わせます。既存のガードレールの軌間、隙間、設置側、勾配を自動認識し、線路の継ぎ目へ正確にスナップします。ミリ単位の手動微調整は不要です。

ワンクリックでレールと端部を一括撤去

鉄道 → ツール内のブルドーザーアイコン、JP Remove Guard Rails and Endsを選択します。線路セグメントをクリックするだけで、本パックのガードレールと両端の端部パーツをまとめて撤去できます。

単体動作と互換性

ベースゲーム本来の1,435 mm線路にそのまま使えるほか、1,067 mm & Dual gauge tracksと組み合わせて1,067 mm狭軌線路にも適用できます。

本ガードレールは景観用（装飾）です。列車の運行制御や速度制限を行う機能はありません。橋梁へ自動生成されるのではなく手動で設置します。分岐器や踏切への設置は避けてください。
