Bring Japan’s first all-double-deck Shinkansen to your railway with the Shinkansen E1 Series Max. Introduced by JR East in 1994 to ease rush-hour overcrowding on services into Tokyo, this distinctive twelve-car train combined exceptional passenger capacity with a top speed of 240 km/h.
