A Corporate World
Beschreibung
Important: A Corporate World is not supported on PS5 due to console file-size restrictions.
From nameless factories to shameless empires.
That brewery could just be “Brewery.” Your buses could all look identical. Your freight train could be a perfectly sensible collection of anonymous wagons.
But where's the fun in that?
A Corporate World gives your transport network real company names, logos, colours and liveries. Assign companies to industries, passenger services and logistics operations. Put names on places, identities on vehicles, and a giant company logo on that factory you've been staring at for three hours.
It started with industry names. Then I wanted logos. Then passengers. Then warehouses. Then mixed trains. Apparently “that's enough features” is not something I say very often.
Just want the names?
There is now a simpler option: An Onymous World.
AOW is the standalone naming-only alternative to ACW, made for people who like believable company names but don't want the logos, liveries or extra company controls. Its company catalogue is bundled, so it doesn't need ACW or ACW's country packs.
➜ Get An Onymous World — all the names, none of the corporate drama.
Choose ACW for the full branding experience, or AOW for simpler naming. If both are enabled in the same save, AOW stays inactive and leaves naming to ACW.
Already using ACW? ACW also includes a Names only mode. You can keep your ACW setup and switch off artwork, or choose Selected content and enable only the vehicle categories and building signs you want. Disabled content keeps its saved assignments, recipes and placement presets.
Your companies have names. Your lines should too.
A Tidy World is my companion mod for clear line names, route codes, matching colours and useful destination signs. Because a beautifully branded bus still deserves better than “Line 47.”
ATW names local, regional, intercity, express, workers, shuttle and cargo services. Build your own naming templates, keep opposite directions together, choose vehicle names, and set town and station codes. Its controls live in the game's existing Auto-Rename menu.
ACW supplies the company. ATW organises the service. Use ACW's operator name and existing brand code in ATW templates. There is no second set of company abbreviations to learn.
With ACW active, ATW starts by painting local passenger vehicles and leaves other passenger and cargo painting off. Where you enable ATW painting, ACW yields its livery and keeps the company logo, choosing a contrasting light or dark version. Your saved painting choices take priority.
ATW's optional destination displays use existing vehicle signs, with one-row or two-row layouts on supported base-game and modded vehicles. Use one destination-display mod for the same signs, and one automatic renamer for the same lines.
➜ Get A Tidy World — give the timetable a little dignity.
ATW is standalone and has no required mods. ACW and AOW are optional integrations. You can use ATW without either, or pair it with the company mod you prefer.
What can ACW actually do?
- Industry companies. Give industries real company identities, with names and company signs on supported buildings.
- Passenger operators. Choose the companies behind your buses, trams, trains, aircraft and passenger ships. Depots act as their home bases; a separate Passenger World mod is no longer needed.
- Logistics companies. Give freight transfers and distribution their own identities, with warehouses as their home bases.
- Vehicle branding and liveries. Apply company logos and colours, choose individual liveries, or keep a lasting random mix on the same line.
- Mixed freight trains. Set company shares for wagon types. Want 30% Chevron and 70% Elf tank wagons? Set the recipe and use it for supported new and replacement trains. Shares round to whole parts; we still can't sell you 0.3 of a wagon.
- Names that follow the network. Name industries and infrastructure using company assignments and connected-company rules, including shared hub names and editable templates.
- Company, town and line controls. Choose companies, set local rules, manage location assignments and line contracts, and find services through the All lines list. Acquisitions and contracts are company assignments, not a money-and-auctions simulation.
- Line roles. Use cargo and passenger roles to guide company and livery choices. The optional Line Roles (Auto Rename & Colors) adapter lets ACW use recognised roles from that mod.
- Your company mix. Start with the base mod's global catalogue, then add local companies and artwork from 34 optional country packs. Mix companies from the packs you enable.
- Choose your content. Separate switches cover trucks, rail cargo, ships, passenger vehicles, other freight vehicles and building signs. Use Names only when you want names without artwork.
ACW is cosmetic. It doesn't change production rates, capacity, speed or the game's transport rules. I can give your traffic jam a logo; I can't make it a good junction.
How much do you want to do yourself?
Automatic follows your configured company and livery rules and handles clear choices. Unresolved conflicts preserve existing appearances rather than forcing a guess.
Assisted handles obvious choices and leaves the less obvious ones to you. Manual leaves changes in your hands. If you want to configure everything before automatic naming begins, select Manual before loading.
Advanced settings include naming templates, branding and automation preferences, reusable settings profiles, and searchable help organised into 30 topics.
The interface supports English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Simplified Chinese. Choose the language manually in Setup or Advanced settings; missing translations fall back to English.
Your first corporate takeover
- Enable A Corporate World and the country packs you want in your save's mod list. Downloading a pack is not the same as enabling it.
- Before loading, choose the parts you want: Industries, Passenger operators and Logistics companies. Set your starting Play mode, Brand selection and content options.
- Automatic brand selection follows the map naming set. You can instead choose a country, a regional mix or Custom (enabled add-ons). Selecting a country does not enable its pack for you.
- Load the save, select a place or vehicle, and open Settings → Setup. Check your company region and play style, then apply. Existing saves give saved in-game preferences priority over startup choices.
- Select an industry, line or vehicle and open Customize. Use Change beside the company or livery, then Apply branding. Expand the card for More Options. The Owner action opens company details; it isn't the company-change button.
- Use All lines to find and configure a service. To link a line to a particular place, select that place, open Lines, and use Assign beside the line.
- Open Settings for Advanced settings, or Settings → Help for explanations.
The company selector has search, filters and sortable Name, Cargo and Country headings. Choose a heading to sort, then choose it again to reverse the order.
Yes, you can move the logos.
Open Customize → More Options → Editor to adjust logo placements on supported models. The editor is available without enabling a developer setting. A line needs a vehicle on it before there's anything to edit.
Logo placement tools include positioning, backgrounds, mirroring and curved-logo controls for tanks and other rounded surfaces. Compatible modded vehicles using supported game controllers can also use the editor. Repainting relies on the model's existing colour support and leaves baked liveries intact; custom controllers can require compatibility support.
Saved vehicle placements apply to the exact vehicle or carriage model and can be reused across saves on the same installation. Building edits remain specific to the selected site. Moving one brewery's sign does not move every brewery's signs across the map.
Prepared logo placements are still a work in progress. Not every model will look perfect immediately. The editor cannot read your mind.
Yet.
Before updating
Keep a backup save and fully restart the game after updating. Existing assignments and preferences are intended to carry forward, but my optimism is not a backup system.
Some companies have moved from the base mod into country packs. Download and enable the packs needed by your companies. The smaller base download gives you more control over what you install; installing every pack still adds up.
Known issue: ACW branding on small roadside stops and shelters is temporarily disabled while a crash is investigated.
The country packs
Start with the A Corporate World base mod, then add the countries you want. Each pack needs the base mod. You can mix packs; you do not need all of them.
There are currently 34 official country add-ons. The old multi-country bundles and separate Passenger World add-on are not required for this version.
Enable the packs in the game's mod list before loading. Brand selection chooses from available companies; it does not download or enable country packs.

Tell me what doesn't work. Tell me what's confusing. Tell me if I've somehow stopped the wheels turning again. I can't fix something if I don't know what broke.
➜ Join the LennX Discord community for updates, help, screenshots, company suggestions and general corporate misconduct. You can also use this listing's Discussions section.
For bug reports, include your mod version, the company and vehicle or building involved, your settings, and what you did before it broke. Screenshots help with placement problems. For crashes, include the relevant crash report or stdout.txt log; for slowdowns, include your approximate map and fleet size.
The corporations aren't paying me. You can.
These mods are free. Making them consumes a fairly unreasonable amount of time, patience and coffee. If ACW has made your map more believable, more colourful, or just more ridiculous, you can help keep the next update caffeinated.
Completely optional. Massively appreciated. No shareholders involved.

Performance and stability
- Reduced repeated saved-fleet searches and duplicate vehicle ownership checks.
- Reduced unnecessary copying and unrelated vehicle checks during branding maintenance.
- Preserved native animation callbacks for unbranded vehicles.
- Fixed an unsupported player-component scan that interrupted building branding.
- Rolled back the experimental coroutine fleet worker after native errors caused severe slowdown. Further batching improvements remain pending native validation.
Branding and automatic assignments
- Fixed automatic cargo branding bypassing disabled industry or logistics domains.
- Preserved explicit manual assignments while stopping disabled automatic maintenance.
- Restored configured passenger rules ahead of depot fallback; conflicting rules preserve existing appearance.
- Corrected the logistics selection helper's priority and conflict handling.
Advanced Settings
- Added individual checked/unchecked explanations for all 15 branding controls.
- Localized the descriptions into English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
- Kept internal setting keys separate from displayed group labels.
Compatibility with An Onymous World
- AOW detects both the production and beta editions of ACW and becomes passive while either is enabled.
- ACW retains control of naming, preventing competing automatic naming and duplicate AOW controls.
- AOW also remains passive if enabled-mod information cannot be read.
Validation
- Repaired outdated UI fixtures and expanded branding, assignment and localization checks.
- Replaced the fixed livery-count assertion with checks against all 8,616 source-declared liveries, including missing and duplicate entries.
- Automated checks pass for both production and beta. Native FPS recovery and final visual acceptance still require in-game confirmation.
Restart the game after updating.
