Junction Builder

Build highway interchanges with ramps and bridge sections directly from the roads menu. Junction Builder adds five layouts and lets you adjust their geometry before construction. Available layouts - Cloverleaf — a four-way interchange with loop ramps. - Trumpet — a three-way interchange with a loop ramp. - Directional T — a three-way interchange with directional ramps. - Diamond — a connection between a highway and a crossing road. - Diverging Diamond (DDI) — a diamond layout with traffic switching sides on the crossing route. Adjustable parameters - 2 or 3 highway lanes per direction, with the layout's built-in local widening. - Three interchange core sizes. - Independent longitudinal and transverse dimensions: 100–150%. - Angle between roads: 75–105°. - Vertical scale: 100–150%. - External approach extensions: up to 200 m. - Interchange rotation. Geometry is generated from your settings. TF3's standard construction preview lets you inspect the result before placing it. How to use Open Roads → Interchanges, choose a layout, adjust its parameters and place it. Connect the external roads manually. Available from 1960. Start with a flat site and default settings. Current version This mod is in development. Automatic replacement of existing junctions, fitting to selected roads and traffic-based layout selection are not yet implemented. Ramp road types and local widening are defined by the selected layout. Traffic capacity depends on demand and configuration: cloverleaf layouts retain weaving sections, while diamond and DDI layouts retain conflict points. Some combinations of dimensions and angles may fail the game's standard placement checks. The interface supports Russian and English. All other game languages use English. Uses base-game roads and Transport Fever 3 interchange generators by Urban Games. When reporting a problem, please include the layout, parameter settings and a screenshot or error message.
