• Gigantomaniac, 1:1 square map: approximately 28.7 x 28.7 km. 
• Temperate climate; 7169 x 7169, 16-bit source heightmap.
• Mountain heights reduced from 2,035 m in the source terrain to 1,300 m for better-looking shapes.
• 32 towns at Tiny starting size; 40 industries: 24 land and 16 offshore.
• Corrected major rivers and lakes, with satellite-guided terrain and forests.

Why this region, cities and industries?

• First of all, Canada is my home country, and I live in this region. Vancouver, Victoria, the Gulf and San Juan Islands, and northwest Washington offer a mix of rail, shipping and air routes.
• I set the starting balance to zero because I wasn’t sure what amount would suit a 1990 start and liked the realism of building with loans; if you prefer, enable the official Sandbox Mode mod, set your desired balance, then disable it.
• Mainland hubs and small island communities give long-distance routes useful destinations. Tiny starting towns leave room to grow.
• Basic industries near Vancouver support an easier start; more complex chains farther away encourage regional expansion.
• Oil-platform groups, fishing grounds and island forestry create reasons to move freight by sea.
• Space was planned for long trains, ports and airports. Build the transport facilities yourself; some sites need grading.
